In response to your text post, if you feel like it's forced tell him to slow his roll, and set your boundaries. It seems like you just might want the idea of dating someone but are trying to ignore the fact that he just seems to be the wrong guy. The way you describe him as being "dickish" about understanding your schedule seems like you might be dealing with a "nice guy".
