friendly reminder that it's been years of this solo harry bullshit and months of babygate and ot3 vs harry and while I think that you're right it's perfectly reasonable for people to be sceptic at this point.
I’m gonna disregard babygate completely in this and focus on your points about solo Harry and the divided narrative. Anon, you have the puzzle pieces right there and something is preventing you from putting them together!! So let me lay it down one last time…Harry was always always always the golden child for reasons that I, as a Louie, never completely grasped. When Simon/ Syco/ Sony saw that they decided to capitalize on it, and in fact, it killed two birds with one stone. Grooming Harry as a solo artist also pulls the rug out from under Larry. It’s all been pushed so heavily because it literally fulfills all of sony’s wishes. In fact, sony was SO committed to this that when they were modifying the contract they added in a LEAVING MEMBER CLAUSE, essentially giving one of the guys (Harry) an out. HARRY NEVER TOOK THAT DEAL!!!! Zayn took that deal!!!!!!! Harry, actually, has always been a massive supporter of one direction and has loved his time there. He has never once spoken in favor of going solo, and has in fact deflected those rumors whenever they have been brought up. But you don’t trust your eyes, ok, so. The solo Harry narrative also worked after Zayn left. Sure it’s not the outcome Sony was clearly hoping for, but it’s decent. And then it becomes clear that ot4 is highly dissatisfied with their label and they start shopping around. People seem to forget that they have literally all been pictured around the Azoffs before? And hey I’m not saying the azoffs are going to take over. Whatever. That’s speculation that I don’t care to get involved in. But Harry has been shopping around the most publicly so it’s easy to push that off as solo Harry. But we know by now we don’t see everything the boys do.Ok I wrote an essay and honestly it’s probably pretty useless. I know some people are going to feel like they owe it to Louis to be negative until absolutely everything in his life is cleared up and that’s fine. But honestly please at least consider the facts before you start being negative in MY inbox.
