"S-So... You're Ava's f-friend?" Seeing another human-adjacent person is a welcome sight, not that Odin really minded being around more non-human beings, but it was still nice to know that he didn't have to worry about him or Ava sticking out nearly as badly.

Extending his hand, he gives Ethan a small nod. "Odin. If s-she hasn't m-mentioned me b-b-before. I... W-W-Watch over her."

Ethan saying that he accidentally singed his fingerprints off made Ava realize something, that her own might have suffered the same fate. It wouldn't have mattered if she was still in Titan's sectors, they had all her biometrics, but here?

She grins up at him, grabbing for his hand and jumping up and down. "We can commit grand larceny! They'd never be able to catch us! We can free 'em all and hit up multiple stores!"

Ethan's question catches Ava a little off guard, blinking as she turns to look at him. It felt like she had been able to avoid that question for long enough that she hadn't actually expected him to ever ask it. Eventually, she should have figured out that people were always curious, that it was an inevitability. "Oh, um..."

Hands wring together in front of her chest, shuffling uncomfortably in place. Answering that was always a little bit of a struggle, she wasn't exactly sure herself. "...Technically, 'm a human. Like, I was born one, lived pretty much all of my life as one, but... Alien is usually a good catch-all. Grew up in space, on a planet full of other aliens, but y'know, was just a human." Ava does not want to talk about the pact in detail, she just wasn't in the right headspace to do so. Motion ceases, with her squeezing her own hands.

"Whatever I am now, I think 's like... Somethin' called a Vengess? I don't, um, actually know for certain. Frankly, 'm not sure if 'm all even human at all still, fully that, or some weird mix. And I probably won't know." She's not about to ask Khalaas either, she already knows what the specter would say.

Groaning, Ava glances wearily at the entrance to the cavern, shuffling uncomfortably in place. "Please tell me that there's no water ones in there..." She figured that there probably were, water and caverns went together hand-in-hand, she thinks. "I can handle a cavern, I don't think I can go in there with water elementals hanging around without causing a total cavern collapse..."
