Yogscast are real people, but also play a character-- for example, Simon, the founder, plays a character on Minecraft called Honeydew, an adventurous dwarf that likes sweets. They make stories around these characters and sort of script it and play it out on various Minecraft series. That's what yogscast kin are kinning with, not the actual person! I hope this clears it up a little.
