Division II, Division III cancel all fall sports championships - Wed, 05 Aug 2020 PST

The vast majority of NCAA schools will now have no fall sports championships, as Division II and Division III announced Wednesday that those events were canceled for 2020. In those divisions, the NCAA puts on a football championship. (The major Division I football schools hold a championship outside of the NCAA.) The NCAA Presidents Councils for Divisions II and III have canceled all fall 2020 championships in light of COVID-19. 

Division I has yet to make an announcement, but the board, which includes Grant Hill, has asked the Division I council to review the fall championships.
