The way DJs are being treated in clubs nowadays are the exact example of the reason why I don’t DJ for people ANYMORE.
That’s why it’s no longer fun when I gotta do it for others because they’ll end up running with the narrative of making up lies and telling them that I don’t play the songs that they actually like & want SMH… and that’s the annoying thing about being a DJ.
I’ve seen the way how people disrespect DJs in clubs or events because it’s insane how people are making me take the gloves off in not having fun and outgrowing it.
Please respect DJs with giving them a chance to showcase their talents, not BLAST THEM.
