This is #mybrother . His name is #SpecialistKiyeTatum He was a #paratrooper , part of the #Airbornedivision based out of #FortBenning , Georgia. He lost his battle with #mentalillness back in #2003 . He was a #soldier , #physicist, #mathematician, and a #dopeemcee . I am grateful for the time I got to spend with my brother. He was born in #74 , the year I believe the #rapartist and #producer #Prodigy was born. Lotta #talent came up around that time. My brother started out as a #skateboarder , then started #rapping with our cousin back around #89 or #90 Forming a group called #twohypeemcees , (maybe I got the name wrong) , #circa89 around that time. Backed up by #producer and #emcee #Madlib , #PrincePanic went on to make his first #single and #EP around #91 . He and his group 3 man group...believe #DJRomes was also there on the turntables. @jdawildchild probably recalls the early days when they were doing #shows there at #Huenemehigh and #ChannelIslands . representing #the805 ...all the way live. My brother did shows with #TheLiks , #ThePharcyde, I believe. #Heiroglyphics and even #AtribeCalledQuest , in my recollection . My brother is and always will be my hero in life. I am always proud of my brother, and the things he accomplished. His struggle with mental illness was a heart breaking experience for me. Seeing my best friend battling something I just couldn't really help him with was a great challenge for my family and I to get through. I just want folks to know a little about my brothers story. i hope his memory, and his music will live on. I hope that ALL #veterans know that there are many who want to help them with their challenges after service. So long as I am around, vets will always have someone to talk to about any mental health issues they may be dealing with.
