Yesterday, Alfred and I went to the veterinarian to see how his lungs look after pneumonia.

Ae I have said before, it’s a a two bus, almost hour long bus ride from our house to the vet. And we had lots of hang time waiting for the transfers.

When we had a bus transfer wait of more than ten minutes, I let Freddy out of his carrier.

The little show we took Izaak to at our DjurMagazinet at the beginning of December was more than just a cat exhibition.

It was also a Christmas party. There were gingerbread cookies and Julmust and other traditional holiday treats. There was also a duo who sang Christmas songs and played the flute and guitar.

Whilst we were listening to the singers, we explored the store a bit.

Aby-a-Day – 2 December: Cat up a tree (Silly Singapura Cat Show Sunday)

One of the fun things about having a cat show in a pet store is, there’s plenty of cat trees to play with.

There was one right in front of Izaak’s cage.

He loved them and how tall they were…but he also really loved this little cubby.

The instructions were folded up inside, but that didn’t stop him from playing in there.

If anything, it gave Zak something to play with whilst he was in there.

Aby-a-Day – 1 December: A little show close to home (Cat Show Saturday)

Today, the Sverak club Björn belongs to, Billingebygdens Kattklubb, had a little “mini-show” at our local DjurMagazinet. And by local, I mean, we can practically see the place from our house.

It was pretty cool to have a show we could walk to.

Of course, it wasn’t really a “show” in the sense that we weren’t really being judged for any FIFe points…but it was great publicity for the Singapura…

Ab-a-Day – 12 November: Izaak’s first vet vist (Medical Monday)

I collected Izaak from Arlanda airport in Stockholm on 20 June. On 26 June, his five-month birthday, we went to the vet for a wellness check.

Of course, the first part of the trip was taking the bus. Zak rocked that part of the exercise.

He was also pretty okay in the vet’s waiting room.

And in the exam room as well.

Zak was quite brave on the vet’s examination table.
