 — Мел­кая, лю­ди не ме­ня­ют­ся. Фак­ти­чес­ки прос­то пе­рес­тра­ива­ют­ся, что­бы жить бы­ло по­лег­че, а ты слиш­ком зе­леная, ес­ли счи­та­ешь по-ино­му.      

Ры­жево­лосая дев­чонка оби­жен­но на­дува­ет гу­бы, рас­сержен­но со­пит, но не от­талки­ва­ет. По­тому что зна­ет: глу­пая — это про нее. 

 — В этом при­чина то­го, что ты вздра­гива­ешь во сне, кри­чишь, осо­бен­но ког­да нас­ту­па­ет пол­но­луние? 

 — Се­год­ня как раз и про­веришь, — вя­ло от­зы­ва­ет­ся са­мурай и от­во­рачи­ва­ет­ся, не же­лая про­дол­жать раз­го­вор. И по­чему-то пос­ледняя бро­шен­ная всколь­зь фра­за зас­тавля­ет ее нер­вни­чать толь­ко силь­нее.      

Ка­гуре не спит­ся, раз­дра­жа­ющий джас­та­вей, прис­тро­ив­ший­ся чуть ле­вее ее по­душ­ки, по­казы­ва­ет по­лови­ну пер­во­го но­чи. Она си­дит по­верх оде­яла, под­жав под се­бя за­мер­зшие паль­цы ног, и вну­ша­ет се­бе, что это прос­тая бес­сонни­ца, выз­ванная го­лодом, и к пар­ню, ле­жаще­му ря­дом с ней, ка­сатель­ства не име­ет. Вы­ходит без­дарно.      

Са­ката ме­чет­ся, взмок­шие вис­ки ку­черя­вят­ся кап­ризнее обыч­но­го, и ды­хание ста­новит­ся бо­лез­ненно рва­ным. Тер­пе­ние — то­же не фиш­ка ято. Он рас­слаб­ля­ет­ся, как толь­ко неп­ро­из­воль­но на­ходит не­хит­рое ус­по­ко­итель­ное на сво­ей ма­куш­ке. Ка­гура ос­то­рож­но, бо­ясь на­рушить тон­кую грань меж­ду сном и явью, пог­ла­жива­ет свет­лые куд­ри, уби­ра­ет в сто­рону чел­ку, от­кры­вая вид на вы­сокий лоб, уже пок­ры­тый се­точ­кой еле за­мет­ных мор­щи­нок и бу­син­ка­ми по­та. В та­кие мо­мен­ты де­вуш­ка го­това прос­тить ему все, да­же от­сутс­твие ста­биль­но­го за­работ­ка и обид­ные проз­ви­ща в свой ад­рес, толь­ко вот объ­яс­нить та­кое по­вер­хностное, поль­зо­ватель­ское от­но­шение к се­бе са­мому — уволь­те.     

 Де­ло в том, что жизнь не скла­дыва­ет­ся в ска­зоч­ный за­мок из бе­лых ту­го на­битых кон­верти­ков. Ког­да-то это по­няла Ка­тери­на, по­том приш­ла и оче­редь сес­тры Ка­муи. Гу­бы Гин­то­ки скла­дыва­ют­ся в не­кое по­добие скон­фу­жен­ной улыб­ки, буд­то в от­вет на ее мыс­ли, и толь­ко уб­люд­ские кош­ма­ры не да­ют Ка­гуре без­за­бот­но с это­го прыс­нуть, стал­ки­вая это­го не­выно­симо­го ба­ку от­рез­вля­ющи­ми пин­ка­ми с пос­те­ли. 

 — Твои ру­ки пах­нут кровью… — не от­кры­вая глаз, мы­чит па­рень и толь­ко силь­нее за­рыва­ет­ся но­сом в мяг­кие бе­лые ла­дош­ки. Та­кой прос­той, где-то да­же дет­ский жест не ос­тавля­ет Ка­гуре и шан­са, кро­ме как улыб­нуть­ся сквозь прос­ту­па­ющие сле­зы. 

 — Твои то­же.      

В сле­ду­ющее пол­но­луние все в точ­ности пов­то­ря­ет­ся.

A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 65

There was a title for this episode, but I have always thought of it as:

MY 20 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 65 (manga chaps 83 and 84):

There was no godly way I could have just chosen 10 moments. I’m amazed I was able to limit it to just 20. Honestly, I loved every second of this episode so the 20 is but a representation of the whole. It’s definitely one of my favorite episodes of the entire series. It’s fun and funny, the Yorozuya and Shinsengumi are together, and the GinHiji and OkiKagu quotient was through the roof...what’s NOT to love? 

1) Sougo looking totally handsome as he made his cool entrance.

2) Poor Kagura-chan: imagining her crying like this 27 times for the 27 beetles she had previously buried just broke my heart.

3) I am a horrible person: I guffawed the first time I saw this since it was so unexpected and uber violent.

4) This moment of absolute grossness with Kagura’s snot courtesy of the anime team.

5) Yeah, this made me laugh too. I’m truly, truly horrible. I laugh cuz I love?

6)  These two kids. Btw, Pocari Sweat looks like dirty water and TASTES like dirty water as well. 

7) These three forest elves sprites gorilla penis fairies.

8) If I ever NOT love seeing Gintoki and Hijikata lay hands on each other, you will know I’ve been abducted by aliens and replaced with a soulless clone.

9) THEY HAVE A COMBO MOVE!!!!!! THEIR COLORS COMBINED!!!!

10) Obviously Sougo is obsessed with Kagura.

11) I wanted to start a Shinpachi Protection Squad because of this episode. 

12) Yorozuya on Yorozuya violence.

13) A family that eats sokunbu out of spite together, stays together.

14) This embodies everything that is adorable about Kagura.

15c) ...while he is only a Prince.

16) If I ever NOT love seeing Gintoki and Hijikata man-handle each other, you will know I’ve been murdered by someone and replaced with an inferior copy.

18) This is why I often think of Gintoki as being the seme instead of the uke. 

19) Gin-chan disciplining his two unruly children. 

20) RIP Rurimaru. You’ve served the shogun well.

SHIPS TALLY: 

Gintoki x Hijikata: what am I? Deaf blind and dumb? Dead?

Okita x Kagura: he touched her bare ankle. They HAVE to get married now.

Shinpachi x Yamazaki: it felt like they were making a connection since they were the only two intelligent adults amongst a bunch of idiotic children. 

Gintoki x Kagura: they had this weird moment. Both of them looked like they aged into their 80s.

Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just completely unbelievably amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s immense generosity that I am able enjoy Gintama on an extra another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.
