Will there be a virion dlc in the future?
That is the plan 🌸 Once the full game is out, I'll spend the rest of 2026 addressing any issues raised from the game, but will also work on DLCs, Virion's being one of them. I'll post more about it after the game's full release 😊
'Fallout: New Vegas - Dead Money'
[X360] [USA] [MAGAZINE] [2011]
"You've heard of the Sierra Madre Casino. We all have, the legend, the curses. Foolishness about it lying in the middle of the City of the Dead, buried beneath a blood-red cloud. A bright, shining monument luring treasure hunters to their doom. The world's most famous stars and entertainers were invited to its Grand Opening. An invitation was a sign of… exclusiveness. The opening was supposed to symbolize a road to a brighter future, not just for the world… … but for all who came to its doors. A chance for anyone to begin again. Except - the Sierra Madre never opened. The war froze it in time, like a big flashbulb going off. The Grand Opening - one big ending of humanity. It's still out there, in the Wastes, preserved, just waiting for someone to crack it open. But getting to it. That's not the hard part. It's letting go." ~Father Elijah, Fallout: New Vegas - Dead Money

imagine my surprise when i finally accepted that darkest dungeon got a hold of me so i went looking into DLCs only to find out that 2 of them are completely free and i have been playing all this time without them.
Granted, one of them seems to only add multiplayer which im not interested in, but a new class from the other would be some nice additional content to have i guess!
On another note, i killed the easiest version of hag - she was so far the easiest of the bosses to go into blind, but she still managed to get my healer, RIP.
Like 40% of my roster is now at level 3 with some upgrades, so im slowly preparing mentally for the Veteran quests

I do think DLCs drive piracy. Bc it's like "Oh sure, I'll pay $30 or $60 for your game" that's agreeable. But then with DLCs you get told "You can have the *full* game experience....for $150! 🤑"
And it's like oh OK. So this is actually a $150 game. That's a lot harder to agree to. And if you don't, you have to play just the base game and live with the knowledge that you're being cheated out of a bunch of the game's stories and experiences just because you weren't lucky enough in life to have the sort of high disposable income some people get.
Anyway, when people pirate they get all the DLCs and expansions, all in one neat package for free, and that seems like a much nicer deal.
I’ve mentioned this within the Discord and Patreon but I’ve officially started working on the first DLC for Absentia— Fire and Ice! (One that I haven’t really talked about on here all that much— it won’t be super long, but I’m having fun with it so far. Especially since part of it ties into the second chapter.)
