Throwback to when I hosted a small one shot in person and hand drew and cut out paper tokens and props
Took place in eberron underneath sharn. Some pieces have tape so I could add or remove stuff from the characters or the map
Premise was the Daask host a yearly underground show where they pit people against each other, or against monster. The high standing members of the Daask bring in a handful of their chosen contestants, usually people that owe the Daask money and need a way to 'pay back' or they're being blackmailed.
They went through 3 rounds of awful shenanigans, and one of them was a gelatinous cube + 2 displacer beasts. When the dungeons and dragons movie trailer came out I freaked out cuz I was like OMG I DID THE SAME ENCOUNTER.. THATS CRAZY
I blindfolded the fomorian and had crypt of the necrodancer music playing. They had to pin a tail on the fomorian (that they pulled from the gelatinous cube) and had to let it stay on the creature for x rounds or something.
10/10 would run again
