Because they are DMC. These three iconic characters & no one has been able to remove them from their pedestals since 2005. There have been attempts, but they have not been successful. It's great to see all three of them together again💫

I adore Lady and Vergil- they are two extremely important characters for the development of Dante's character. Their interaction in the canon is kept to a minimum, but NDMC confirmed for me once again that Lady and Vergil do not hate each other- they are literally the same: stubbornness, pride, desire for revenge, blind rage, tendency to alienation, extreme perfectionism - they become an easy target for manipulation- both in DMC3(Arkhem) and NDMC. Dante is the anchor for both of them, keeping them from the storm in their troubled souls. Vergil rejected Dante's help and fell into the abyss, but the Lady managed to escape. The ending in DMC3 broke my heart, and now NDMC has done the same.
