fun fact: thanks to the transformers, the mecha genre and megaman, i had an idea that robots can indeed have a DNA program (term introduced on MM Xtreme 2 and MM X6 onwards), but instead of being a deoxynucleic acid it could be more akin to a data node algorithm, that could be replicated in order to clone, rebuild or upgrade a machine as it contains specifications down to even the hardware functions and other stuff since it would constitute the basis for the robot’s creation on the first place. sadly, that would work on a more homogenized environment...
*gasp* dr. light has still got a monopoly on robotics hundreds of years even after death. will that villain ever be quenched?!
but i digress. at least that’s the explanation i gave to myself the first time i played X6 and everything combined is the reason for why i get kind of confused when people say that robots can’t have a dna (program)
