Day 1: Courage/devotion

Sometimes courage is confessing your love to your crush. Sometimes it means to stand up to what you fear most to save your beloved.

This scene is simple and with little detail because it’s supposed to be very simple, puppy love (and not because I was very lazy)

Before coming to the prison Techno removed his emerald earing because he was concerned if they would try to steal it. And in this instant, he’s looking at the enemy, ready to fight.

Dream bites and snarls, but he’s looking at the thing that’s actually able to hurt him, like a dog looking at the hand that will strike him.

Dream’s clothes are dirty but whole, this is because when Quackity comes, Sam strips Dream down to keep the clothes from tearing and cutting. It’s still stained from grime and blood, but it’s treated better than the prisoner.

day 3: fern and magic

After nearly a year of inactivity on our behalf, the moderators of our blog present to you the newest, this year's first, and this blog's second ever, Dreamnoblade event from November 15th until the 22nd: DNB Flower Week of 2025!

Originally, the DNB Event calendar sheet would have had a halloween event, but we took into consideration that, aside from there already being a rivals duo Halloween event planned beforehand by another user, many others would likely participate other October events (Whumptober, Kinktober and the likes)

So, instead, we're using November, and since November is the month of flowers, this event's theme will be flowers.

Our event manager (yours truly) has cooked up a week of seven days plus a bonus day of eight different flowers, paired with two prompts each! The idea is that you may use one or both prompts served and preferably include the flower of the day, in any type of art medium you'd like, much like last year's Christmas event.

When posting your work, make sure to use our tag #dnbflowerweek25 as well as tagging our blog so we can see your post and reblog it. Much like last year, an AO3 collection will be created by our mods for your written works (usage of the AO3 collection is entirely optional). This will be shared soon.

The rules are pretty flexible as there are no requirements or limitations whatsoever. You can decide whether to use both prompts or not, what art medium you use, et cetera. Go wild! We will be eagerly awaiting your creations :)

In my cruel destiny... you are the difference

Here I depict a secret bond of love, inspired by “La Diferencia” (The Difference), a song that can be interpreted as the voice of an authentic love that, even though true, struggles to find a way to express itself. Two figures who, to the rest of the server, are rivals destined to clash. However, here they meet in that silent space where no one can see them, where they drop the mask of enmity to reveal what they truly feel. It is a stolen moment before the coming chaos, a warm moment within the tension that marks the days leading up to Doomsday.

The ferns that surround them play an important role: in nature, these plants usually grow in hidden, damp places, like secrets that only thrive away from direct sunlight. Their symbolism speaks of sincerity, trust, and protection, a silent refuge where what is true can blossom undiscovered.
