But let’s be clear; going high does not mean putting on a smile and saying nice things when confronted by viciousness and cruelty. Going high means taking the harder path, it means scraping and clawing our way to that mountain top. Going high means standing fierce against hate, while remembering that we are one nation under god. And if we want to survive, we’ve got to find a way to live together, and work together across our differences. And going high means, unlocking the shackles of lies and mistrust, with the only thing that can truly set us free: the cold, hard truth.
Michelle Obama, DNC 2020
Whether or not we even have a future depends on getting climate change under control. No pressure, though.
Follow along here as we break down where each US Presidential candidate stands on the issues.
THIS 👏🏿 RIGHT 👏🏿 HERE 👏🏿 ... we have to acknowledge the #classism from the Democrats who want to pressure progressives by saying we will address certain issues after Nov 4th. So.... Palestine, Medicare4all, Free public College, Ending Qualified Immunity, Defunding the Police, & issues that affect a certain income bracket ... can take a backseat to issues YOU deem priority like Planned Parenthood & Climate change etc. (which are being addressed now) Don’t hand that Man the Presidency for your comfort and try to convince me you’ll be back for me later. 🙄

Saying we stan Michelle Obama is a cliché, but it is true.
I can't tell you how good it feels to know that the future voice of progressives, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showed us
1. How uninformed people are that she's just doing her job as a delegate and think that she's going rogue by endorsing Bernie instead of Biden
2. Not selling out on her beliefs or bowing down to the establishment like they wanted in the absolutely insane idea of "unity" where they give us nothing and shame us and hate us for saying it's unfair or begging for scraps
3. Using the insulting amount of time they gave her to give a voice to progressive ideals
She is the future and I'm so happy to support her
reminder that 2020 is NOT the hundreth anniversary of women’s suffrage rights, it’s the hundreth anniversary of white women’s suffrage rights. we cannot celebrate the hundreth anniversary of women’s suffrage rights until 1965, when all women finally received the right to vote and we should not dismiss the struggles of woc when discussing women’s suffrage
