dream calling george hot
dream saying “he’ll listen to me” all smug and then george DOES
george refusing to get his hair wet again and dream’s little “why not? 🥺"
george asking dream’s opinion/permission for everything

i fucking hate twitter /j /lh
its scientifically proven that if you have a crush on someone you say their name more often, just some interesting small dnf truthing based on the post you made
a pointless random analysis of a single sentence
i just want to say... dream is very good with words in a more subtle way that often goes unnoticed. i don't think people realize just how carefully crafted a lot of his sentences are. obviously i'm not talking about when he's chilling with his friends on streams and fooling around. i mean in more serious/professional settings.
and there's one specific sentence he's said a few times that i want to talk about, because i am primarily a dnf-centered blog, and because i think about it a lot for multiple reasons.
"me and george are not dating, and have no plans to."
this is such a well-crafted sentence. he's said it a couple times, once in that stream about boundaries (we all know the one), and once on train's podcast. probably a couple other times too that i forgot about. but it's always that exact phrasing. he never changes it from what i’ve seen, and if so they are rare occasions, and he always answers people who ask if there's anything going on between them with that same sentence.
he's honestly brilliant for this one, and here's why.
dnf = worst kept secret
thinking about that time during one of the dnf alt streams where sapnap was demanding to be added to the call and dream continued to ignore him, and even though george pointed out that sapnap was there also made no move to add him. it was BAD who joined and then added sapnap lmao
dream, that was so questionable... why would you refuse to add your bsf while in call with your other mutual bsf?
can dream be broke out of prison for some dnf reuniting angst already
imagine:
once again they’re standing face to face. yet not toe to toe. dream squints, the world is bright outside of lava and obsidian walls. the birds sound louder than before but now dream listens. dream isn’t sure who exactly has the upper hand. george- the ruler of a kingdom (he was a king once by dream) or dream- a fear evoker even still. george sighs, “i dreamt about you.” dreams breath catches itself. “and i stood outside your prison and wondered if anything we did together was real to start with.” dream closes his eyes, imagining the bright spawn of new days. he hums. “it was real.” his voice catches itself and rasps. he opens his eyes the dusk has settled on georges worn face, but his eyes. dream still reads his eyes. i miss you, they crinkle in hieroglyphics. dream feels a quirk of his cracked lips. “george.” “yea?” “i missed you too.”
dream won’t see him again for months. dreams going to explore the world. places with no titles or claim. he’s going to find peace again. in himself and the man he is now, alongside who he was at the beginning. and when he rides back in, horse-mounted or walking, he’s going to look at george again and he’s not going to miss him. dream is going to learn to love him again. /dsmp
