At first it may sound super obvious, but this is one of those prosperity tips that, if ignored, will completely tank your finances. You'll be wondering why you keep hitting the same glass ceiling of your income and never breaking through. Prosperity Tips #1 - Stop Hanging with Broke People Jim Rohn once said that your income is the average of the 5 people you spend most of your time with. If you've studied the law of attraction you already know that "like attracts like" and if you are always hanging out with broke people... well, you can guess what's likely to happen. Prosperity Tips #2 - Why Broke Conversations are Worse than Broke Thoughts "Thoughts become things," right? You've heard that one before. Do you know what's more powerful than thought itself? Words. Especially charged conversations you're having with a friend about how much or how little money you have. And even worse these days, people get on Facebook and social media and complain about their lack of money which supercharges the negative effect of their broke thoughts. If you want to get rich and become wealthy, you have to stop talking about how broke you are and start talking about, thinking about, and even obsessing about how you're going to live and create an abundant life. Prosperity Tips #3 - How to Avoid Broke Conversations If you've got broke friends, you know how easy it can be to get suckered into a pity party conversation about having no money. It sucks. Especially if you're looking to create more abundance and prosperity in your life. So how do you avoid it if you are stuck in the same room with someone? Redirect the conversation. I'll give you an example. Years ago people used to ask me if I was going to this weekend's transformational workshop. Even if I didn't have the money in the bank account to go - at least not yet - I would say something like this: "I'm going, and I'm creating the funds to go as we speak!" Simple right? It works wonders. Now the conversation is going to go in the direction where you want it to go - abundantly!
