“Hey, hey, hey, that’s not for you,” Casen scolded the Newfoundland pup as he took the notebook out of his mouth. Of all the times for Smudge to act out, it had to be in public and when he was trying to get some work done. With Ula working and the apartment feeling a bit too lonely, Casen thought it would do him some good to get some fresh. His girlfriend was usually yelling at him anyways that he didn’t get enough since he spent a lot of time in his study. And since he was going out to get some fresh air then Smudge would probably want to tag along and get some too. Just he didn’t think his pup would be a problem. Then again, he was named Smudge for a reason.

He gestures vaguely to the bartender as he continues his story, escapades of his travels being the HIGHLIGHT of his conversation ( though in truth half his tales would never have been ‘bought’ so he kept them to himself.
“ANYWAY, long story short he ended up FINE, shaken up maybe, but fine. Th’sea longs on that man were fuckin’ ATROCIOUS. He couldn’t handle a lil gun fire–––th’pussy. Then again he WAS a scientist so...”
