Doctor knows best // Hannibal and Will

Hannibal: knew how easily Will could get caught up in his work. He knew that the man could look at a case file meaning to put aside a half hour of his life to look over it and end up in the mindset of someone not himself for hours. He knew this, and yet when it was five minutes past seven Hannibal blamed Will's tardiness. It was nearly eight when Hannibal makes the first call. He leaves a simple message for Will to get here before the food got cold. It's still a half hour later that Hannibal really allows himself to worry slightly. He calls Will again but there is no answer. The food is cold, the masterpiece already wasted because this creation hadn't been intended to be reheated. He calls Will three more times, no longer bothering to leave messages. When half past nine rolls around Hannibal wonders if Will submitted to sleep and if so where he was now, if he was still in the bed. If he was even still currently in the city. He calls again.
