My entry for @destiny-islanders and @novallion‘s The Ties That Bind Zine! Please go check it out! I wish I could link it but apparently that causes problems for tumblr posts? In any case, I’m not entirely sure where this idea came from, but from the get-go I knew I wanted to parallel these three hanging out at the fountain with Sora, Riku, and Kairi at the paopu tree, or Roxas, Xion, and Axel sitting on the clock tower. It may not be as impressive or memorable as the main trios of the series, but I’m such a sucker for the friendship with Ephemer, Skuld, and PC in this game. And it’s a damn shame they never got a moment together like this!

I’m so glad I could participate in this project!! Thank you Destiny and Nova for bringing us all together and putting in so much work of your own! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every part of this zine, both creating my piece and looking through everyone else’s! Wonderful job to everyone involved! And may your heart be your guiding key!

@phantomtype I gotchu, friendo. XD It’s simple and silly, but here’s a bit of fanart for Patoto like you wanted. Funny story, I actually just finished this last night. I was gonna wait to do the final details and post it until tomorrow ‘cause I’ve got plans today. But after that post of yours about waiting for fanart, I had to finish and post it immediately.

Truth is, though, I’ve been wanting to do something with these two since Patoto was first posted, because I also have a potato-saiyan of my very own. Well, half-saiyan but whatever.

My OC Romanii tries to recruit @phantomtype‘s Shadowmancer to her thieves guild. Because she’s basically the thief’s version of Ash Ketchum: she’s gotta catch ‘em all. I’m not so sure that’s gonna work out for her, though. Shadowmancer seems a little less than receptive.

Not gonna lie, I was winging it most of the way through this. My style is in the process of metamorphosing, and I’m also trying to figure my out how I want to present my art online. So to sum up: I’m a huge mess and so is this. Mostly I just wanted to make this scene happen because Romanii’s wanted to recruit Shadowmancer for a good long while now, and Shadowmancer looked fun to draw.
