Chronicles of Narnia AU || Nora & Gwen
Plot: Gwendolyn Faye is the great-grandaughter of the White Witch, and while she possesses the same powers as her great-grandmother, she has heard the stories and refuses to be like her. However, because of her lineage, most of the people in Narnia fear her and would prefer to see her gone.
Nora is the reincarnation of Lucy, the past queen of Narnia, though she is unaware of this. But history seems to be repeating itself when Lucy's incarnate finds her way to Narnia.
Gwendolyn Faye rested on a thick, tall branch of a pine tree that stood in the middle of the silent woods. It was winter time once again, and Gwen could feel the power thrumming through her veins as she called for more snow to fall. All it took was a thought and a small wave of her hand, and the clouds instantly formed overhead. The snowflakes didn't touch Gwen since she was hidden beneath the heavy branches of the pine, and neither could she be seen from below if anyone were to pass underneath the tree.
That was exactly how Gwen liked it. Winter time was the only season when she could use her powers without anyone fearing her, and she liked to make good use of them. away from all the people who judged her.
Closing her eyes, Gwen called for the snow to fall even heavier, and it soaked up all the sounds of the forest, leaving a hush over the woods that Gwen allowed herself to get swallowed up in. Here, in this solitude, there were no kings of Narnia or judging glances. It was just her, the snow, and all the magic she could muster. She never wanted to leave.
