play talk: too much play
#probablyeverett
I love seeing Everett play. I do. It makes me happy to know that I’ve done something to make him happy. But he never knows when to stop. He just doesn’t get it.
Lately he’s had this habit (and it’s absolutely horrendous,) of biting at ankles, biting clothes, biting arms, and even jumping up to faces to bite them. He gets so overstimulated in his playing that he just goes apeshit and doesn’t remember his ‘no’ ‘easy’ ‘gentle’ cues, and I have no idea what to do in this situation. If I ignore his attempts he just goes harder and faster, and to be quite honest it hurts and I’m tired of getting bruises all over my arms and legs. If I try to get him to take a toy instead of focusing on my body he ignores it and tries for my wrists.
