Well, look at that. There's a dog wandering down the street over there. It's a little dirty and doesn't have any identification tags so it's probably a stray, but otherwise it looks like an ordinary dog. What, if anything, do you do?

Well, I suppose I’d let it wander, not really my place to interfere with it’s life. Suppose if it came up to me and it was friendly enough I’d give it a pet and greet it?
