That is seriously my main point!! He's such a creep when it comes to women. but my English teacher is all "oh no he's just a product of his time period" as if Bram Stoker didn't have realistic women in Dracula. Or dickens didn't in bleak house. Omg I got carried away
but really though! like yeah okay maybe it was more okay to be an ass but that didnt mean he HAD to be one ya feel. like hot damn hemingway when i find you in hell get ready for a fight
I HATE HEMMINGWAY TOO. HES A CHAUVINISTIC ASS AND IM ANGRY THAT HES HAILED AS SUCH A GOD OF THE CRAFT. UGGHGUGHHHH OMG
HONESTLY YES???? I WANNA PUNCH HIM?? IDK I THINK IT ALL STARTED WHEN I REALIZED ALL HIS STORIES CALL WOMEN GIRLS AND INFANTILIZES THEM FROM THERE IT JUST WENT DOWN HILL??
There are currently no ways to download the episodes again (legally or otherwise). CoD doesn’t work on my phone either since servers are down so I can’t restore my purchases :’(
The Deathicated Blog, however, is an absolute blessing to this world because they’ve been posting steady screencaps of the episodes for years now. Please check them out and send them some love ♥

What's your wip about? :)
It’s about a 16-year-old boy named Reve whose father is the King of Nightmares, who spends half his life in people’s dreams and half his life in the real world, and who is being raised on the road by his con artist half-brother Beau.
The finger thing is about the thickness of the book and the corresponding difficulty to read. Yeah idk. They taught that at my elementary school lmfao
?????????? does it have to do with the thickness or???
Can you use time words when writing a story in past tense? Like tomorrow, yesterday, and now. I've seen some places say that you can and others say that you can't. Is there any real rule for this? Same with here and this. Are those incorrect to use when writing past tense? I've been told that writers often write most easily in past tense but it's so much more confusing to me compared to present. Thanks!!
You can use them in free indirect speech, which is when your narration basically adopts your character’s words or thoughts and they get integrated into the third person narration.
For example:
Yasmina held her brother’s hand tight as they ran. The city was falling to ashes behind them as the dragons swerved and screeched overhead. She didn’t stop until she reached the woods. She knelt, checked Nassim for wounds and reassured him. They would be fine now. There was nothing to worry about any more.
The last two sentences are Yasmina’s words, but they’re not reported directly. You can use words like “now” in this case.
Otherwise you need to use different markers like “the next day” instead of “tomorrow”.
Do you have a post on creating fantasy maps? Or maybe a tag? Thanks
I focus more on the writing side of things, but this recommended reading list on Reddit’s /r/worldbuilding subreddit has an extensive list of things you can use as worldbuilding resources. I highly recommend anybody who needs these kinds of resources check it out.
