(donewithholmesshit) John nods and stands, holding out his hand so he could shake Charles'. "Thank you for granting me this interview. I do hope things work out. Here's my number so you can let me know to come back. Thank you."
Charles nodded and shook his hand. “Of course, feel free to come back just after you’ve finished your meal, if you like.”
(donewithholmesshit) "Of course Professor. Whatever you need." John nods and puts his folder back into his briefcase and snapped it shut. "Would you like to do it now? I was going to go get a bite Abbs come back if that's alright with you sir."
“Yes, you can go to Abbs and come back if you would prefer, that will give me time to tell the rest of the staff about you.”
(donewithholmesshit) John sits back and looks at Charles. He say there patiently and waited for Charles' decision.
Charles takes another look through the references before he hums and nods. “I think this could work, but I would like you to meet some of the other staff as well.”
(donewithholmesshit) John nods and smiles at Charles. "I understand Professor. I won't stare."
“Good.” He agreed, sitting back.
(donewithholmesshit) John blushes and looks away from Charles. "My apologies Professor...... I will most certainly try." He grins and tries to temper his thoughts about Charles' perfect ass.
Charles nodded, having stopped reading his mind. “I hope so. All the students here are mutants. Unlike myself, some of their mutations are visible. I don’t think they would appreciate stares. I hope I can trust you not to.”
(donewithholmesshit) "Oh? Then what am I thinking of right now?" John smirks as he focused on his thoughts of how sexy he found Charles and what he thought of his ass.
Charles brings his fingers to his temple and read his thoughts, raising an eyebrow as he listened to him. He coughed and sat back a little. “I think this should remain professional if you’re still looking for a job, Doctor.” He murmured.
(donewithholmesshit) John's jaw drops and he stares at Charles in disbelief. "Really? I figured all that ion your papers was theoretical. What can you do?"
“I’m a telepath, so I can both read and control minds. However I try to not make a habit out of controlling others. I hope that you won’t tell anyone, this is supposed to be somewhere safe for mutants.”
(donewithholmesshit) John frowns as he looks at Charles. "I'm not sure what you mean sir. I assumed it was a school for geniuses like you Professor Xavier. I've read all your papers and things on genetics. It's fascinating."
Charles hesitated as he listened to him, knowing he should tell him the honest truth. “That’s not entirely true, Doctor Watson. This school is for the gifted, in more ways than one. Not necessarily their minds. You know my papers focus on the mutant genes? That’s because mutants exist, I should know. I am one.”
