i think my family would adore him so much actually. my parents have their moments but for the most part are very welcoming people, and they would appreciate that he has a steady job and no kids before i came around. my sisters would think he's funny, and overall they'd be happy that i am happy! (they would meet him before he becomes a kaiju, i believe).

i am admittedly not a romcom person, so i had to google to make sure the movie i was thinking of was actually a romcom. i'm going with zack and miri make a porno because it's friends to lovers with a "this is fine" mentality until it turns out to be not fine and feelings have to be acknowledged, which is kinda how we are.
