i have no idea if ive ever posted abt her on this blog before but i need to redraw her bc theres a canon bikini bottom high school cheer uniform now and i need to make her the worst person to ever exist
subjecting you all to my oc betty bubblebottom, spongebob's cousin from his mother's side of the family. idk what to say about her except she's based on a very specific shape of sponge often used for carwashes. so the joke is she... is a sexy carwash girl.
inspired by this post, my take on karen's parents!
fredrick is based on the 1977 apple II - karen 2 was based on the aesthetic of modern apple computers so i felt like an older apple computer would have been fitting for fredrick, and the apple II seems to match his original design best. his stand is based on karen's stand from the first spongebob squarepants movie.
meanwhile emilp (emilp isn't her real name - just the name of the executable on karen's hard drive that contacts her. but idk what her real name would be!) is based on the 1997 commodore PET 2001 - or technically, the original prototype for the commodore PET. the monitor has some blue accents that i felt would match the fact that emilp used karen's monitor in her only appearance. her stand and arms are based on hanna's design.
