From what I’ve heard, the 3-step glitch was an intentional way to reduce the server stress (since the app doesn’t have to always determine a pokemon’s distance)

that’s what i figured at first, but in sending the location of nearby pokemon, distance to the pokemon can be calculated client-side with no more processing required on the server-side

i think they wanted to discourage people trespassing?

i find that hard to believe? from my experience they almost exclusively spawn near roads and pokestops/gyms, which seems like a perfectly good way of ensuring no pokemon spawn on private property

yo so if you have a soldering iron or are capable of borrowing one from someone, it's super easy to replace the battery for old gameboy cartridges like i replaced the battery on my copy of sapphire like yesterday (well i didn't actually replace it... the battery was still alive it just disconnected from its leads but ehh close enough)

is that what prevents save files from staying? bc i know my sapphire/ruby definitely have dried up batteries (since it actually tells u in-game) but the save file still keeps for those

(sleepover sunday) so like, recently i got one of my friends to start playing ace attorney, and then in turn i got his girlfriend (another friend of mine) to play it too, only she started with investigations, and he started with the first game, and like without me even saying anything they both started asking me if wrightworth was a thing?? and now they discuss their headcanons with me and i'm like how the heck did this even happen but also i am very happy that it did

the app has been broken for like forever! you can’t buy new chapters for some reason, you can only play the first two, i’ve like tried to see if capcom has even acknowledged the issue but they don’t really seem to care D:
