Crowley is assigned to investigate the unexpected uptick of infernal energy being produced by Bush Doofs in Australia. He brings Aziraphale along for the ride. It goes… well, it goes about as well as you would think.

Hello Good Omens fandom! I am ridiculously excited to be posting the first chapter of Angels Don't Dance. I've been working on this one for months and can't wait to share it with you.
A few things before we start:
1. Many thanks to my betas, who have been awfully generous with their time and skills: my partner Zai, who is suffers happily through everything I write; and to @whickberstreetwriters- especially AngieWords , Sakascal , and Mrs_Seamstress who were my betas for this chapter, as well as GaiasEyes , who rescued me from footnote-formatting Hell.
2. This fic is set at a bush doof. If that's a new term for you, think of an electronic dance party, out in the forest somewhere (or somewhere equally remote), with some level of questionable legality, a lot of drugs, shit tonne of awesome costumes, and a focus on expanding consciousness in some respect. Here's a quick primer, and an informative video.
3. This fic is set in the canon Good Omens Universe EXCEPT that the bureaucracy of Heaven and Hell haven't yet got their ducks in a row to kick off Armageddon yet. So; no Antichrist mix-up, no Warlock Dowling years, no showdown at the Tadfield Airbase and no body swap. There's just a malingering, increasing sense that Armageddon is coming, and Crowley and Aziraphale don't want it to happen.
4. There will be some depiction of drug use, including unintentional drug use (questionable to no consent). No one is harmed by this drug use. There’s no other content warnings I can think of, but I will let you know if that changes. Expect their to be discussions of sex, romance and genitalia, if this is something you don’t enjoy reading about, this fic probably isn't for you. Feel free to message me for details if you want to make a more informed choice about whether to read or not.
PS. I really suggest you watch the video. You won't regret it.
