i wouldn't call myself an ARTIST -- i feel like i have a long way to go before i earn that title. i can't draw men at ALL for one thing. or animals. or cars. or non-natural backgrounds. but i do... draw! i've been drawing as long as i can rmr. my whole family knows me as the kid who would go to parties and ask to be locked in a room with any book they had or a pen and paper so i could draw! my biggest art inspiration / muse was sailor moooon -- it's my favorite media of all time, actually! but i rmr having a huge hyperfixation with drawing anastasia, disney's megara and belle and jane. here's a random selection of stuff i've drawn in the past! mostly i consider myself a professional at passing off sketches as art hahaaandfsf.

                       THE BELL JINGLES AS A CUSTOMER ENTERS THE SHOP.  poppy,   who is now coated from head to toe in flour,  finds herself already embarrassed.   a bright red flush warming her cheeks.  “   be right with you!  ”  she calls out,  still crouched behind the counter.  hiding.  of course!  of course someone would come in right after the brand new bag exploded on her.  attempting to dust herself off,  she slowly rises,  and before her stands the most beautiful man she has ever seen.   tall,  long,   dark hair,  beautiful silver eyes;  he was a dream.  oh!  she must look like a fool.  her hair,  clothing,   and skin were covered in white.  even her eyelashes had remnants on them. 

“  w-welcome to dewdrop delights!   ”  poppy stammers,  attempting to collect herself.  come back down to earth.  “  my name is poppy.  what can i get for you?  ”

❝ hm? oh— ❞ sal pulls one of the earbuds out, letting it dangle from the cord as he pauses the current song playing. if anyone were to ask him, he'd go on a tangent about how music sounds better coming from wired headphones than anything wireless. less compression of sound files, no latency . . .

❝ slipknot, ❞ he finally replies, angling the phone in hand so the taller could see what was displayed on screen. ❝ i haven't listened to them in a while and now i'm fixated on them again. i always forget how good psychosocial is. ❞

                       POPPY’S SMILE SPREADS FROM EAR TO EAR.  bright blues take him in,  dark brown locks,  and stormy grey eyes.  she never stood a chance against him.  “  it must be my lucky day,  ”  she whispers sweetly,  brushing away strands of hair from his eyes.  “  it’s not every day that someone ends up with a breathtaking metalhead in their lap,  ”  leaning down to pepper kisses to his cheek.   zachary kaplan is her entire world.  without him,  she would be nothing.  simple as that. “   can i be greedy and keep you forever?  ”  words whispered between kisses,  carefully being placed along his jaw.

𝓖REY smoke rolls off the blunt pinched in between fingers, dez seeming relaxed for the first time today. these things always stress them out beyond belief, making hedge riot's tour bus into a scarce air - conditioned safe haven. in the distance, song changes to something bass - heavy & electric — dez's head rocking to the music as smoke pours from her lips. ( one song closer to hedge riot's set, & kenji has been blowing up their phone. ) ❛ — god, pleeeaase don't let them take me. ❜ lamented while relishing in her plush pile of pillows, dez stretching in order to offer zachary the joint she's been hoarding.
