*Minor Spoilers* This is a deliciously filthy after dark read! Set in 38 BC Rome, Aziraphale has tracked Crowley down to a bathhouse to tell him about the upcoming birth of Jesus. If he's being a little affected by the orgy around him, that's not his fault. And if the pair need to get intimate with each other, it's really not their fault, they are just trying to blend in after all! I love their characters so much for how they each justify doing what they really want. Aziraphale will always have an excuse or loophole for his behavior, and Crowley knows exactly how to tempt without being caught out. Not unique to this fic, but I want to note, that just because a story is a PWP that doesn't make it any less engaging than other kinds of fics. Sometimes the plot is porn, and that's wonderful! This still has such great character exploration within the filth. Very much not safe for public, but you will have a great time at home!

I loved this fic! I didn’t put it on the list because the anon was looking for fighting angst that broke them apart, and from memory, this isn’t part of the story; it starts with them already apart.
