DOPE GOD - Red Cafe
with a track list amounting to 17 songs Dope God offers plenty of variation but for the most part Red Cafe keeps it two hundred && trilly. in my hov voice. you know when people say they did it for the streets ii think that is what Dopeboy Rojo did with this mixtape. like not straight street shit but beats, vibes, && lyrics that the streets could feel… fret not my jonesin individuals he has you covered with tracks like, Peace Sign && Making Me Proud.
bars have never really been an issue for Red Cafe so you can expect that on this mixtape as well as a mixture of dope beats to match it. there are actually a lot of anthems on this tape. which are great to work out to or twerk to, you know whatever your preference. && which song becomes your anthem really just depends on who you are with. for example…
ANTHEMS
with the team : loyalty means everything && squad of hittaz
with your rider: dope team && bad bitch alert
with your money: dopeboy rojo && no fakes
*my favs: ii just hit a lick && the plug && last call
after my first listen of a mixtape ii usually look at the comments before my next go around. && ii think a commenter on Dope God made a valid point. “it’s like a bit of what we know of him mixed in with a bit of the new wave”. which ii think is a good thing. if you are able to adapt in this ever-changing game it makes room for longevity… as long as you don’t forget your roots which ii don’t think Red Cafe has. Dope God includes several of his ShakeDownEmpire family like, RU Spits && Trey Davidson. ii think he actually used this project as a time to spotlight some of the SDE artists. there are also features from Rick Ross, Fabolous, Jeremih, Jim Jones, E-40 && Yo Gotti on the mixtape. Dope God reminds me of a good day && night down in Miami. if you don’t know what ii mean … click the pic && get hip. 💃
shhhhmoke something.
