1: Are you named after someone? Only my middle name, and it’s after a character played by Liv Tyler

2: When was the last time you cried? When I saw Moana I was crying within the first 10 minutes. I cried like 5 times during that movie, I swear it’s because it was that beautiful

3: Do you like your handwriting? Meh. I’m grateful it’s legible, but beyond that it looks like a fifth grader’s writing

4:What is your favorite lunch meat? Rosemary ham

5: Do you have kids? Haha no

6: If you were another person, would you be friends with you? Probably. One of my best friends is basically me in a lot of ways. I’d probably be more frustrated at my self-deprecating attitude

7: Do you use sarcasm? Oh honey yes

8: Do you still have your tonsils? Yep!

9: Would you bungee jump? I’d be terrified, but sure

10: What is your favorite kind of cereal? Honey Nut O’s are my go-to, they’re Trader Joe’s ripoff Cheerios

11: Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Depends, but the number of shoes I never untie has increased over the years

12: Do you think you’re a strong person? In some ways, yes. Self control not so much

13: What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Cookies and cream is my default, can’t go wrong there

14: What is the first thing you notice about people? Hard to say, often their eyes

16: What is the least favorite physical thing you like about yourself? My teeth. I have large healthy teeth in a very small jaw. Kind of messes everything up. On a side note, my vision sucks

17: What color pants and shoes are you wearing now? Grey cargo skinny jeans and mildly festive cozy socks

18: What was the last thing you ate? My family’s turkey jerky. I haven’t actually had a meal yet today

20: If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Ooh geez. Probably brown or something

21: Favorite smell? Is it gross to say my partner? It is, isn’t it. I’ll go with baking cookies then

23: Favorite sport to watch? Basketball. I watch with my dad occasionally

24: Hair color? Brown. I get highlights in it when I spend a lot of time in the sun

25: Eye color? Dark brown

26: Do you wear contacts? No, but I might have to start. Extended periods of time with my good headphones and my glasses arms give me headaches

27: Favorite food to eat? Panini is a fairly solid choice, although in terms of type of cuisine, I adore Ethiopian food

30: What color of shirt are you wearing? Navy blue henley, but I also have a light tan button down over that

31: Summer or winter? Winter, I guess. Autumn is my favorite

33: What book are you currently reading? I’ve been perusing the Wicked Plants book my mom got me. Seems I have a love of dangerous toxins

35: What is on your mouse pad? Ha, the “Periodic Table of Texting.” My favorites are NAP (not a problem) and NINJA (non income, no job, no assets)

An Israeli artist named Dorj is sending tingles up and down my spine with his electro R&B and alt pop music. Dorj released his three track EP, FORGETMOVEONDONTCARE, this past Friday. From that potent collection comes Forget, a stark and absolute, mournful but seductive single. It exudes such lustful anguish in its crisp, clarion vocals and spaciously echoing production. Both tracks remind me of a Autre Ne Veut, but framed in a sharper, more glossy electronic soundscape.
