Any idea how long Dead Men Walking is going to end up being, or is it more a 'it's gonna be as long as it's gonna be and we get to find out together' sort of thing?

I have a predetermined end point for Dead Men Walking. I’ve mostly just been behind on finishing up on my edit notes for the last two chapter. However the series that it’s part of “Translations of Silence” is more in the mode of “it’s gonna be as long as it’s gonna be” since it’s my full AU for how Jono/Doug saves the 616 Marvel universe

Re: Keep/Cut: I think the first thing I'd do is a bit of restructuring, especially seeing as Dark Cybertron has been cut. Bring in Nautica and Velocity earlier. Cut the Scavangers, and you know what? Cut Megatron. His presence derailed the series hard after Dark Cybertron. Put more focus on the crew. Let's see how Getaway gets his mutiny off the ground WITHOUT Megatron to use as a focus.

Q: Of MTMTE/LL’s arcs, which do you feel is most important plot-wise and which do you feel could be cut? That would certainly make for a different narrative sans Megatron, because he was present for nearly 3/4 of the series. Not sure if I’d make that call personally, but I would be interested in what kind of story that’d leave. I do super agree that Nautica and Velocity would be better to be brought in earlier. And yeah, as much as I like them I agree that cutting the Scavengers would help free up a lot of space.

you know what, we were talking about Vincent Price the real man but tbh this also applies to his character in House of Wax
