I'm bad at keeping up with things
This is just a brief update about what's been happening in my life, and my witchy world. My summer has been very full so far. I've been working two jobs and haven't had much time for anything else. An update on my situation for next year is that I'm going to be living in a dorm suite with three other girls, one of whom I've talked to quite a bit, the others not so much. I haven't told her about my witchy tendencies yet, and I'll probably wait to have the conversation until it comes up naturally or I feel a bit closer. She seems very nice though. I'm also in the process of clearing out my things, getting rid of stuff, and rearranging for moving, which unfortunately means all my altars are out of commission since there's literally just crap everywhere. The energy of my space is totally messed up. I need to get past the final push so I can make things nice once again. A little more big picture now Through my years of practicing witchcraft, I've done different types of things, trying them out and learning. I'm starting to see myself develop pretty heavy preferences to different types of magic. I'm thinking of becoming a specialist in certain things. First of all, my bibliomancy is something that I love doing, and want to improve at. In my opinion it's one of the best forms of divination. Not as open-ended as some, but rarely without clear meanings and lessons. Secondly, I've been worshiping Aphrodite for quite a while now, and never have I been quite as powerful as when I work with energies of love and sex. I'm most inspired by these topics above any other, and I think I will be developing more intricate rituals concerning these, rather than more basic spells. That being said I do love coming up with those everyday witchcraft posts, they get me inspired, and let's face it, most of us don't have tons of time to devote to our craft always, so it's nice to be able to keep up in little ways. I know I'm pretty bad at keeping up with this blog. It's mostly original content so it's pretty dead when I'm busy as all hell, but I promise I'm not gone. When I start school I won't be working, which I know doesn't mean I won't be busy, but hopefully I'll be less busy, and I'll be out of the house, so I'll be a little more free.
