yesss absolutely. all the linclaude art ive seen is amazing but i wish there was more. i love fanart. i love fancomics. i wish there was an infinite amount. i cant speak for dorocedes but i imagine they also dont have a lot? i love spiritually bonding over stuff like this. also i love knowing other people who are also in rarepair hell. honestly this has reminded me that i havent posted something about linclaude in a while which means i should find something random to rant about soon...

Hello!! :D Im so happy you sent this ask because I’ve thought about Mercedes/Dorothea a few times in passing during my playthroughs and wished they had supports!!

I’m only on my first playthrough of Black Eagles and still on white clouds so I might not have the best grasp on Dori’s character yet,  but I’ve seen basically all of Mercedes supports!!

Mercedes/Dorothea ramblings under the cut!

I really like Mercedes/Dorothea as a concept because I can imagine they’d relate a lot due to their backstories, the both of them being victims of nobility in very similar ways. I think Mercedes would be very supportive of Dorothea and worry about her a lot due to her circumstances, and conversely, I see Dorothea feeling very safe around Mercedes but also feeling protective over her, seeing Mercedes’ genuine kindness and worrying that others would take advantage of that. 

If  they had supports, I think Dorothea would end up encouraging Mercedes to stand up for herself more and take control of her life, specifically in the case of Mercedes’ adoptive father trying to marry her off, with Mercedes admiring Dorothea for her confidence. (Whilst being a tad bit self deprecative, noting that she doesn’t think she could have the same headstrong attitude that Dori has :() But I also think Mercedes would want to coax Dorothea into feeling safe enough to open up around her, realizing that a lot of Dorothea’s confidence stems from having to protect herself so often in the past. 

Dorothea realizing that she doesn’t want to marry a rich man, instead wanting to stay with Mercedes!!!

Mercedes realizing she doesn’t want to keep letting ‘fate’ push her along and refusing to be married off, having the confidence to do so because she has Dorothea’s support!!!!

I can see it being very tragic in some circumstances depending on the story but I also think they’d be really cute together!! I’m just rambling now, but I’d like to put more thought into this ship sometime because I adore it!

-nina asked subaru out and it was DRAMA bc momoka crashed nina's tsundere ass confession despite not even having feelings for subaru herself. subaru chose nina thankfully but oh my goddd -mari, yohane, ajisai, and renako have joined the island!! ajisai and renako gravitated to each other fast sdfkfdsk
