Theory that the Gotham City the bats live in isn't actually Gotham. The real Gotham City is all sunshines and rainbows with their universe's equivalent of Mamdani as mayor (since it's based on NYC). Batman's Gotham is a replica because addressing unemployment starts with making sure the local vigilantes and villains still get their enrichment.

a/n: With all the pregnancy yaps as of late… I was cursed with angsty thoughts of having them as baby daddies, but apparently that corrupted my feed because now I keep getting shown pregnancy symptoms. The funniest one I came across was this poor woman who would nearly throw up anytime she looked at her husband… I feel like that's fitting for Dick.

Just had the most vivid thought of Bruce sitting with his family for their weekly night off and they're all too hyper and creating chaos having too much fun, enough to shake up the poor manor and Clark is in between Jason, Barbara, Damian and Dick trying to throw them off of his back where those gremlins are trying to sneak attack him and Bruce is doing the same with Tim, Steph Duke and cass when suddenly he pulls a muscle/throws out his back in a hilarious manner and all his kids are doubling over from shrieking laughter, telling him that he's an old man now and having performance problems already. They laugh for a perfect 2 minutes before all of them dissolve into tears because omg their father/husband is growing old?! He's already got a foot in his grave and he's going to leave them?! Oh no what they will ever do without him.

when I wrote my crack fic about Booster Gold which had Tim saying “who?” whenever his name was said, I thought it was an exaggeration.

and then recently I’ve seen daily comments on reddit/twitter that are all variations of “who the fuck is Booster Gold?”
