Yes! Thank you. Finn and Kylo have a completely different relationship dynamic that stems from Kylo sparing Finn at Tuanul: Kylo sees him as a reflection of his mistakes/pull to the light and resents him as a “traitor.” And Kylo may be aggressive and angry in battle, but, as exemplified by the Force bonds and his other interactions with Rey, he isn’t aggressive or possessive towards her, and he isn’t jealous of Finn. I would so read it if you wrote a full meta on this.

Ahhhh thank you Nonnie! I’m a little mad that we didn’t get more of them in TLJ, although it would have been difficult given how the story played out. (I recall there is one line in the novel where Kylo senses Rey is thinking about Finn and he hopes he’s dead, but I think that’s it, and there’s nothing in the film) I hope we get more of them in epix, and that this storyline isn’t just dropped.

I would like to write a meta, there’s definitely room for a Kylo + Finn Reylo-centric meta in the world (the only good Kylo + Finn metas I’ve seen have been from F*nnR*y shipper antis, and obviously they have their own objectives that I don’t share). I have been talking to @red-applesith about writing one / encouraging her to write one (we are best buds when it comes to this topic). I expect it’s coming, one way or another.

Edited to say: If there are good Kylo + Finn metas out there that explore their relationship aside from Reylo, please let me know! Nothing by antis, obvs.
