Hello hello y'all!!

I come with another fic anniversary announcement; this time the SMG34 Drabbles and Snippets collection has reached a year old!!

YIPPEE!!! 🎆🎉🎉

In its honor, I'm gonna drop some fun facts regarding its creation and development and the thought process behind some of the chapters so if that's up your alley, they'll be under the cut for your reading pleasure!

SMG34 Drabbles and Snippets Collection Fun Facts (spoilers for some, if not all of the chapters):

At the time of its creation, the Snappet collection had simply been ideas of who Mr.Puzzles could possibly be in terms of his character and how it could affect SMG3 and Four as well as their relationship.

The Snappet collection currently has the highest kudos count out of all my fics, which is surprising given that most of the chapters aren't related to each other, so many thanks for that!/pos

In Puppet (Chapter 2), SMG3 holding Four by the neck is supposed to be a callback to WOTFI 2020 (Youtube Arc) where 3 did the same and in an ironic twist, instead of Three doing it willingly, now he's being forced to.

Puppet also takes inspiration from WOTFI 2019 (Waluigi Arc) with SMG3 fighting under Puzzles' control being inspired by Mario fighting under Waluigi's control.

The Vampiro storyline (Chapters 5-7 + 12) was just me wanting Vampire!3 content since there didn't seem to be a lot of material regarding it at the time and as much as I adore Vampire!4, the want for V!3 overpowered it. So yeah, indulgence for the win in this case.

Chapter 7 (V Aftermath pt2) was one of the more difficult chapter to write given these idiots' character traits and their inability to communicate properly unless pushed to it or near death. Despite that, its probably one of my favorite chapters I've written to date (alongside Location and Pesadilla)((Ch.11 and 12 respectively)

The Vampiro Aftermath chapters (Ch.6 & 7) were originally supposed to be combined into one big chapter but due to the previous fact (as well as irl circumstances) I had to split em.

Outside Perspective (Chapter 8) was the first chapter I wrote with a character POV that wasn't 3, 4, Mario or Meggy, the perspective in question being Axol.

By Being With You (chapter 9):aside from being one of the chapters using song lyrics as its title, its the only chapter (so far) inspired by artwork

Location (Chapter 11): the title? Definitely a reference to Khalid's song of the same name and to an extent it kinda gave off SMG34 vibes, mostly from the verse "This is new to me, this is new to you/ Initially, I didn't wanna fall for you."

Yall ever think about Mayro and wonder if he sees his Pre-SMG4's arrival self in his dreams sometimes? Then in the morning he can never fully remember his dreams but he's always left with the fleeting feeling that something's missing.

I can do nothing but flop when it comes to oil painting but hey that’s okay sometimes I’m learning at least *sobs*

Whenever I get sad now about anything ever I just go “monkey brain ain’t made for this monkey brain made for banana” and that stops me dead in my spiral

I feel bad about my art skills sometimes then I remember my circumstances, compare myself to the people in my school, and breathe a sigh of relief (personality wise not art wise)
