What do you think stands out in the bass flute rep? I can think of a couple of good bass flute pieces, but I hadn't thought about it being better than alto rep.

Mnemosyne for one and I like the bass flute etude more than the others from the Isang Yun etudes.  Also there are a lot of pieces that translate really well to bass flute.  Schwantner’s Black Anemones works well. There is some really great ensemble music for alto, but not much solo stuff.

Oh god no. I kinda want it to be a collective type thing (like Dal Niente) and therefore have a group naming decision.  It took us two years to come up with the duo name :P

The word "tumors," for when a laconic explanation is necessary. Or perhaps "Have you tried reading the FAQ?" (More seriously, maybe one of the more compact Escher designs?)

That way I can just post photos of it in response to FAQ answered questions.
