hi paige how are you enjoying the party so far? good? great? fantastic even? cool.

Both of them couldnt sleep after Aunt Artic and Sensei's deaths, so they decided to have a sleep over. Singing the lullaby intended for the puffles calmed both of their nerves down.

However, Paige, despite this tender moment, could not sleep. And stayed up the entire night wondering if the Puffles in the new world are even safe.

In the early morning (before Agent woke up), an annoyed and concerned Dot finds a terribly sleep deprived Paige who explored at least a majority of the island of puffles.

PH: Crikey! I've tried mate! But not a single bloody puffle on this island! And I can't even get in the pet shop!

DOT: (Teasing) If it makes you feel any better I could try to dress up as a puffle.

PH: Mate. No. I want the real deal. A REAL puffle.

DOT: But monobert already established that there are only about 14 of us penguins, 1 crab, and 1 black-and-white questioningly murderous polar bear!

PH: That crab...

PH's expression sours at the thought of that crab. Sure, maybe PH does feel a little bad about that crab, knowing monobert's unrelenting cruelty towards his one and only henchman, but he is still in some sort of cahoots with monobert! And the fact that AGENT of all the people in the EPF is close with that thing- right after the deaths of Aunt Artic (THE DIRECTOR MIND YOU!!!) and Sensei!! Just makes her so... So...!!!

DOT: Don't get your whistles in a twist Paige. Lets get you some rest back in the igloo, we'll have some coffee later, okay?

PH: And THEN we'll look for more puffles, right?

DOT: Whatever you say Paige.

......Meanwhile:

PH: (In the monitor) Come on! There's gotta be another puffle somewhere!

MONOBERT: JUST KILL SOMEONE ALREADY!!!!!

Unfortunately, this gives Monobert a nasty, nasty idea to use against Paige.

Okay so. I am having thoughts rn. In the chapter 4 ski lodge scene, Dot mentions to Agent that Paige tends to sing lullabies to sing to the puffles that she trains to sleep. She even sings a lullaby for Agent and Klutzy. Idk if im wrong but like-

Paige, singing lullabies to ease the puffles (and also PENGUINS since (okay head canon territory) that she has either sung to Dot to help her sleep, or sung with Dot to help the puffles sleep- as a bonding activity.)

And Paige playing the piano to ease others into sleep (either nightmares or dreams) for malevolent purposes.

Its like the same thing she does to comfort others, is used to lower their guard and harm them. Also I cant stop thinking about the fact that she used this on Dot in the Pizza Parlor- GODDDD

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

OOOH okay this is easy! Dotph. Their doomed yuriisms always compel me, though I do like them also as undoomed as well sometimes! I do wish there was more exploration about what these two are like together before well. You know. But the angst between them is pretty good and heartwrenching.

I also like Paigent as a pairing too. Idk why, maybe it's because they both like Dot? But in the small handful of interactions that Paige has with Agent (outside of arguing against Klutzy and. everything in the Chapter 2 trial), they are quite pleasant. Paige going like- Ah I know who the new director is going to be :) (referring to Agent) is kind of cute tbh.

I also loved that small interaction they had in Penguinronparonpa where Agent helps Paige make the despair sprite face to get the hope fragment from Nagito... By making a despair face themselves.

Dotpaigent is funny. I like it. But I have a hard time imagining what their full dynamic would be like. They are (ALMOST) colored like the bisexual flag if you pair them all together.

Skeff is awesomesauce!!! It's like they're the Sam and Max of the Penguinronpa universe!!!

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

Dot's! I'm very bad at explaining it but her arc flows pretty smoothly! I liked when she and Agent reconciled after everything that has happened in Chapter 3. And everything about her being the protag in Deadly Life Chapter 4.

S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)

Okay. here goes... (haha most of it is Paige adjacent):

Aside from Paige and Dot having an open relationship (which may be implied to be canonized in the QnA from tofudemaru)- They also have an on-off relationship(?) Idk if that's what it's called. Some days they are romantic partners, and other days they are just friends. And it kind of just, cycles a lot. They are pretty satisfied with this arrangement.

Paige is heavily affected by Aunt Artic's and Sensei's deaths, but does not show it. But witnessing their deaths instilled a feeling that none of the penguins could ever survive the killing game, especially when two of the most well-known, respected, and powerful penguins were killed.

Paige sings lullabies to calm herself and others down.
