I‘m so excited to finally share this gift with you! @pastille-pain reached out to me about editing this, and I was more than happy to help him out! We’ve been working on this together for the past month, and IT’S FINALLY DONE AND I’M SO PROUD OF HOW IT TURNED OUT WAHH

This is my first time editing a full blown animatic, and the process was so much fun!

DotS:MMM Major update! +News

HI WOW it's been too long! What a wild year it's been for me thus far! Life has been busy and all over the place up until recently

So as many of you know, I've been rewriting a lot in DotS:MMM and DotS mainline, and unfortunately I've hit a wall on both

To prevent burnout and overwriting, I've made a difficult decision.

DotS:MMM & DotS overall on hiatus until further notice.

I was already showing signs, and I love this AU and series so much that I don't want to lose another passion project to burnout. Earlier in April, I met some professional comic artists, and they gave me some incredible advice that I'm taking. This is part of it. One thing I've needed is multiple, totally unrelated comic storylines, to prevent this burnout from happening entirely— and I'm glad that I caught it before it could be reversed

I hate to disappoint all of you readers who have been waiting several months for the last few pages, and the next chapter. I'll get them done over time when the mood strikes, and post them all in a whole batch! But after those last few pages, there will be no more DotS:MMM until I sort out its major problems. It snowballed into a mess that I've been stumped to fix, and it's taking time

Going forward, I will have a new personal policy with my pages. I won't start posting anything until the entire episode/chapter, even if broken into separate parts, is 100% complete. Won't even announce it until I'm reasonably within finishing range. Like the last 5 pages or so. Just to prevent this nonsense from happening ever again. Posting will not begin until I'm absolutely done with it.

I've come to realize that it puts so much unnecessary stress and pressure onto me —albeit self-inflicted— because I really don't like to disappoint you all ;A;

In the meanwhile, I'll be periodically posting sketches, doodles, and any other shenanigans my kirbos get into. Until then, really, I'm going on a full break from all of it. 7 years straight is quite tiring LOL

When I return to DotS, the comic formatting, art direction, and such may change entirely from what you all have become accustomed to. DotS needs a facelift, and I gotta find what's fun for me

Currently I'm enjoying some side projects and using that to experiment with new things, styles, going absolutely and utterly wild. I've seriously needed this because I felt so trapped sticking to the same formatting and things!

My Kirby stuff may be on a pause while I play around with a new obsession of mine! More about that to come in a future post C:
