My HCs for the masked lords of Alagadda.

White (Diligent): Cold, Introverted, Straightforward, Extremely workaholic but doesn't mind, Does not approve of the other lords sometimes (Especially if he deems them as "Slacking off"), Is mostly the mature one out of the bunch.

Yellow (Odious): Emotional, Easily Provoked, Won't handle criticism (You'll get executed on the spot LMAO), He doesn't shy away from showing his anger, Will casually threaten the other lords if they so upset him (He and White have beef sometimes due to White's consistent criticism of his "methods".), Generally an unapproachable guy. (He may look hot *literally* but don't be fooled, he ain't pleasant T_T)

Red (Mirth): Bundle of Joy, Tries to help the other lords sometimes when he has no work to do (Purely cause he feels a little insignificant.), Is usually the one who tries to make peace between White and Yellow whenever they fight, Genuinely cares but doesn't know how to show it aside from cracking jokes or trying to make the other person smile (doesn't always work with the other lords, sadly.), Doesn't handle pressure well, Is very VERY self aware when things don't go his way but he still tries to do something about it. Maybe the *chillest* and *least bad* out of the bunch

Black (Anguish): Somber almost always, Is mostly seen in the city's own "graveyard" mourning those who passed, Will attempt to comfort the disturbed, Can easily sympathize with those who are suffering, gets severely upset if he's disturbed while working (More on that later), Will attempt to lash out if you're disrespecting the dead in anyway, he gets along well with Red (The red lord continuously tries to cheer him up no matter what.), Is more quiet and reserved than the rest of the lords, has a one sided crush towards a certain bird whom he's friends with (You know who that is 😏), cares a lot more about the citizens of Alagadda than the other lords.

(Honestly, I am having a bit of a hard time accepting that, in this canon of mine, Dyo used to be a completely different character in Alagadda before being banished to the human world. I'm so used to his Present self that I can't imagine him as anything else but a slimey-manipulator who's trying desperately to get his way.. But I'm taking into account that this Mask was not meant to exist in another world AND the possession of multiple hosts (a lot with a criminal record) can and did fuck him up SO BADLY that he no longer knows who he is, and is acting up on an amalgamation of each person he has possessed prior.

I really hope ppl realize that the sedition tape canon is slightly different from the stuff written in the articles and hope ppl get to realize that you're not obligated to follow through with the canon of the sedition tapes either.. SCP is a playground, you can take an article/SCP and make up whatever bs you want about it.. You can also follow whatever canon you want on the wiki and make your own spin on it to make it smth entirely new.. Go and be free dawg..

[This post is coming back up again purely cause I discovered that if a post that's been reblogged previously gets deleted off from your profile, then it'll still be up on the person that's reblogged it, so there's really no reason for me to keep it down anymore if it's already out there.] (I recommend listening to this while reading.) My own HCs for the Alagadda Lords (Covering the roles that each one plays.) : White (Diligent): The Architect. The one responsible for building the city's unique structures. He works day and night, drawing out each building into his precious notebook. Is almost never seen outside of his office during his 'designing' phase, will occasionally be spotted with the Yellow Lord during the construction phase, overseeing that each structure is built to perfection. Yellow (Odious): The Supervisor. The man that sees all the building operations in Alaggada. Many Imps work under him day and night to complete the tasks, any form of slacking or under working will be met with severe punishment under his hands. His iron grip on each building operation allows for 0 faults in the final result. Despite his occasional disputes with White, the two can co-operate quite well when it comes to performing their respective jobs. Red (Mirth): The Performer. In a such a bleak, desolate city, it's quite difficult to stay cheery if no source of entertainment is present. Which is where Red's role comes into play. He has his own group of performers, clowns and jesters that keep the city's laughter alive, throwing out special performances for the citizens here and there and is the one in charge of managing Alagadda's largest Masquerade festival. For without joy, the city will ultimately fall into gloom and despair. Black (Anguish): The Groundskeeper. Where laughter exists, despair must follow. The citizens of Alagadda experience their own 'deaths' just like humans do, for once their mask breaks, the body dissolves and whatever soul that's inhabited it will cease to exist. Many such cases have plagued the city and each one more unfortunate than the last. The Black lord's caring hands tend to each victim, making sure that they have their proper burials and respects paid, their broken masks would be placed upon their graves, incense lit near each tombstone and flowers offered to every grave daily. The Black lord has his own Cemetarians to perform these tasks along with him. Any attempt to try and desecrate a grave for whatever reason will result in punishment, depending on how severe the damages are, the punishment can range from regular jail time to even death. If one can not respect the dead, then they have no place among the living.

I still am a plaguemask shipper (used to be VERY hardcore into the ship back when scp series 1 was JUST blowing up along with creepypasta) but I can't for the life of me make their relationship wholesome/happy T_T During their time in Alagadda, while things were mostly one sided, they were still good friends. Post Alagadda however... oh boy. Having almost little to no memories of the place and of each other really fucked up their whole dynamic.. Doesn't help that after Dyo got banished, the personality he was once had changed after being worn by so So many people down the road. He became obsessed with the notion of possessing more hosts, it's something akin to being an addict atp.. And having met 049 again heightened that obsession even further..
