Looking through the tempered glass always made her think of them. Think of them and cry. It was why she hardly ever ventured into the favored museum of her childhood. 

A hand touched lightly onto the case, as tears gathered in the corners of her eyes. That was all it took. One look and standing there transported her back once more to when she had to lean up on her toes to see into the aforementioned display case. 

Standing there, all the many histories, stories and myths came flooding….rushing back to the fore. It took only a moment for her to become overwhelmed by her emotions. 

And yet….She still managed to quickly find herself a way out of the museum once more. 

Finding herself on the grand steps outside of the museum, she looked up at the building behind her. Wishing that she could once more look among the ancient Celtic things without seeing her mother in every corner of the room.

// I haven’t seen Into the Storm.  But between Han Kruger, Francis Dollarhyde, and Daniel Miller I’m just “TAKE THE AMERICAN ACCENT AWAY FROM HIM”.  I mean.  I’ll give him credit; he’s better than some of his colleagues *cough* Genevieve O'Reilly’s (Sarah’s) accent wandering around the US *cough* but still you can see the British breaking through every now and then.

Like Sir.  Please.  Stick to being British, for all our sakes.

I have not willingly eaten an onion in 30+ years.

ѩ - Are there any characters that you love, but simply cannot role play?

I have trouble with canons - a mix of feeling a lack of control because I’m playing someone else’s character, a feeling of inadequacy in capturing a character’s voice, and, at least on Tumblr, a feeling of inadequacy when it comes to all the other versions of that character that already exist.

ℳ - Do you think you have a good handwriting?

Absolutely not.  My handwriting is nice enough given the proper writing implement and an abundance of time.  But when it comes to trying to take notes, or keep up with the words in my head, or write something within a certain period of time, my handwriting’s a disaster.  

When I was a sophomore in high school, I broke my pinky slamming it against a door, and writing by hand was physically painful, so I asked to use one of the school’s laptops for my midterms.  My teachers then petitioned the school to let me use a laptop for all my exams from that point on, because for once my essays were actually legible.  So yeah.  When your teachers are going ‘for the love of gods let her use a laptop so we don’t have to read her scrawl’ your handwriting’s pretty shitty.

Doctor Who AU!

This one’s a little tricky because I’ve always just hc’d that the Doctor exists in the same world as the MCU, and the show is more of a docudrama than fiction.

But okay.

1. Vivian has a list.  Vivian has several lists.  Vivian has a list of all the people from history she wants to meet.  Vivian has a list of all of the events from history she wants to see first hand.  Vivian has a list of all the paradoxes she’s willing to cause by attempting to stop certain events from happening.

2. The Doctor tells her she can take one list with her and he’s probably going to ignore it anyway because lists are boring and not at all fun.

3. Vivian spends half her time on the TARDIS in the wardrobe room putting on historically-accurate outfits and taking selfies.

4. Vivian spends the other half of her time on the TARDIS in the library.  She doesn’t even care that most of the books are in Gallifreyan.  At some point she goes looking for a mattress to drag in there and proceeds to declare the library her bedroom.

5. Vivian cried the first time the Doctor took her to another planet.  For the first time in her life, she actually was the alien she’d always felt like back on Earth.
