‘Lady Perseus, delighted to make your acquaintance!’

The ball was in full swing - an orchestra’s haunting melody lapped between the waves of conversation - this way and that, Perseus found herself being given far more attention than she thought herself worthy of - the emerald-haired sister of an Empress spoke to the Duke with familiar ease, and flirted with them as easily as breathing. When her attention turned to York’s new partner, she found an arm around her waist, pulling her into the vampire’s side with a possessiveness she could not help but find appealing. 

‘Apologies, Littorio - thou hath found my courtesy lacking. This-’ Her hand, encircled around her waist, ran down her side, sending delicious shivers down in arcs of lightning that felt taboo in only the most exciting way. ‘- is my betrothed, Perseus.’
