Interview with Design Pilot Owner: Ben Leoni
Venturing out at 16 Ben Leoni started designing skateboards and selling them out of his locker. At 18 he started his freelance career starting off by pitching the design and direction for a magazine out in the Finnish markets of Helsinki, Finland. Before he was finished school he was already out designing for other big names such as Jason Ellis (Professional Skateboarder) and other athletes in California. The countless miles logged while traveling around the world formed an appreciation for the international language of design and communication.
