DR DONUT: Why are you saying crystal crap? Alright, bro. :( I'm never teaching you cyrstal pvp again >:(

Mermay prompt Watercolor I only had watercolor pencils and I haven't used them before. I wanted to create a little scene of my character Dr. Donut (who always claims to be a mermaid) being painted by fellow mermaid.

"I never married! ... until now."
I was really struggling to think of something to draw for this episode, and then I realised: what better pairing for a donut-obsessed witch than an actual sentient donut? This is probably the weirdest thing I've ever drawn. This is also my OTP now.
I like how this piece came out. These two characters are very easy to draw. I like the way Dr Donut wears his suit, although I'm not sure if it's physically possible for him to take it off. The background is also nice. I tried dithering again, and it looks alright. The bushes could be better.
Fun fact: According to the Enchiridion, the witch's name is Floradulcina, which translates as something like "sweet flower". That's a serious case of nominative determinism.
“Are you kidding?”
