I made this as a pfp for a discord server bot where I role play.
I posted it on deviant art but it counts as shit post so why not post it here too.
well I don't want to tell much about what happened, cause it's best if you see the comic when it's out.
But essentially his soul was corrupted during the events after Gaster's falling and him being forgotten.
Sans' soul got corrupted with resentment after he decided to continue working at the labs as the royal scientist and saw how corrupted and evil people were and what his father went through.
And after all those accomplishments Dings was forgotten by everybody.
He doesn't like being called Dr. Gaster but he doesn't mind being called Dr. G instead.
Res (obviously a short for Resentment) has his sockets empty all the time since he feels pretty empty inside.
His soul is black with red rims as resentment is a corruption of determination and justice combined.
He is well aware of the forth wall because of his abilities, but he isn't the one to really interact with the audience.

Res is kind hearted, loves death metal "as do everyone who is involved with me", Is unhealthily addicted to energy drinks, has a weak side for children and a weak soul.
His soul can shatter for something as small as a strong emotion, that's why he always has a collar around his neck that shows his soul state.
The more Ir moves toward red, the more fragile his soul is.
When he is filled with resentment he starts to release toxic smoke that cracks him and is toxic for others to inhale.
