[EXECUTION] Round and Round

Although the courtroom is understandably chaotic, it fades to silence after a collar clicks around Sachie's neck. She gives you all one last terrified look before she's pulled back into the darkness.

When you can see Sachie again, she's seated atop a carousel horse. It's rusted, and old, and looks like something straight out of a horror movie. The theme park worker looks petrified, and you notice tears in her eyes. Her arms are bound to her sides, rendering her helpless.

Then the carousel starts moving. It's moving a little faster than usual, surprising for a rusty old thing, but nothing out of the ordinary. You watch Sachie jolt up in her seat as it starts, taking her with it.

The first lap, there's nothing unusual. Of course, the creepy carnival music playing is unsettling, but you don't see what's so bad yet. It's the second lap that you notice something is... Different.

Something silver is sticking out of the center of the carousel at about neck level. It gets closer every turn. When you see what it is, a shudder runs down your spine. It's a blade, inching closer and closer.

Sachie sees it too, and you can see fear set in as she starts to wriggle in her seat, but there's seemingly no way to escape this thing. Her eyes grow like a young deer in the headlights as it gets closer. Finally, it gets close enough that it just nicks the side of her neck.

Sachie winces, and looks back at you all one last time. Her eyes are full of tears, regret, and... Pure despair.

She closes her eyes- and the blade takes off her head.

Almost instantly, the lights go out. All you can do is listen to the creaking of the merry go round, and it's haunting tune, until the curtains close on the life of Sachie Hatagami.

[SACHIE HATAGAMI, THE SHSL THEME PARK WORKER HAS BEEN EXECUTED.]

[TRIAL 2] SUCCESS!

Sachie Hatagami has been voted and found out as the killer.

[TRIAL 2] A Hard Fall

Edo flashes on across every screen in Utopia Contempo, calling the students all to attention. The familiar happy jingle plays, and before long, their monotonous voice rings out with some undoubtedly unwelcome news.

"It's that time again, kiddos! It's my only hope that you've investigated sufficiently enough to pinpoint the killer this time, 'right? Last time we went easy on you, so don't be overly confident! That's not a very charming feature in children, is it? I don't think so! Ha-aha-ha-ha! Anyway, stop standing their with your mouths hanging open. To the elevator with you!"

With that, Edo goes blank once more, leaving you with only the sound of your own erratic heartbeat in the dead-silent mini-city. You and your classmates make your way to the elevator, stepping on with a sense of unease: it's clear that there is an air of distrust brewing among some of you. But it's only logical: someone here was a murderer, after all.

The intricate door slides closed and you wait as the box descends lower and lower, until after what feels like forever, it comes to a sharp halt. The elevator door slides open after a brief lag, presenting you with the same dreadful courtroom as before. 

It was time to begin.

ANNOUNCEMENT- TRIAL TIME

The next trial will take place on Thursday, August 14th, at 6 pm EST. If something has come up, and you are not able to participate, please tell one of the moderators! Have fun looking for evidence, everyone!

[TRIAL 1] First Descent

EDO turns on in every room, as you are stopped right in place. A cute little jingle is played before they speak.

"Time's up, time's up! I sure hope you've found some things that are useful to you during this investigation. In fact, it's super important, more important than any of you can probably imagine! I'll explain more later. Keep in mind that you will be rewarded for your efforts. Right then, make your way to the elevator. Go on. Time waits for nobody."

...The elevator? The center of the entire place? Why would EDO want you to go there? Although it's a strange request, you suppose that arguing with your headmaster might not be the best idea. You prepare yourself mentally and head towards the center room, curiosity and nervousness clawing at your insides. Once each and every student (except for one, that is) has arrived, the doors open. You and the rest of your classmates enter, filling the expansive elevator from wall to wall.

Once everyone had ventured inside, the door ominously slides closed. How come all the rooms without curved walls were so menacing? More importantly, where were you going? One of your friends was dead, and now you were descending downwards, and rather fast -- where on earth was this thing taking you...?! 

Someone among you had killed Yuina, and it was up to you and your peers to figure out who did it with the evidence you had found. What would happen if you found out who committed the act? And if you failed? You had a feeling this would not end well. Before long, the elevator comes to a halt, and the door begins to slide open...
