The monster is based on the dracky from Dragon's Quest, not Golbat. A lot of people so far have been thinking this is Golbat. Close! It is a bat. But it's not Golbat. When I played Dragon Warrior for the NES back in the day, I'm pretty sure this enemy was spelled "Drakee". Which made me think it was supposed to be a baby dragon. Then I looked up the Wiki, and it's supposed to be "dracky". Like "Dracula". I've been wrong about dracky since 1989...
